If you are new to wakeboarding, don’t worry, we are here to help! Below is a list of frequently asked questions that will help you know what you need to bring, what to expect at the park, and we offer at the park. What Is Cable Wakeboarding?
Cable Wakeboarding is a form of wakeboarding where riders are pulled by a high-tech pulley system instead of a boat. The pulley system picks up ropes from the starting dock and pulls riders in a circle around the lake. Riders can utilize the ramps and rails on the sides of the lake to try new tricks.
How old do riders need to be?
Roseland Wake Park allows anyone 5 years and older to ride at the park. However, if a rider is younger than 7 years old, we do require them to take a lesson for their first time.
Do I need to know how to Wakeboard to come to Roseland Wake Park?
Absolutely not. We have trained staff to help you get up on a wakeboard for the first time. Whether you just want to take some tips from the operator at the starting dock or get one-on-one lessons from one of our coaches, we have what you need to make your first wakeboarding experience a success.
Do I have to bring my own wakeboard or other equipment?
No. We have a full rental shop and equipment for sale in our pro shop. You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment, however, no metal fins are allowed on the features, all life jackets must be Coast Guard Approved, and all helmets must meet CE EN 1385 water sports standards. If you are unsure if your equipment is allowed, feel free to bring it and ask the front desk. Roseland Wake Park is not responsible for any damage to your equipment from the features. Is Roseland Wake Park a good place to have my party?
Yes! We have Birthday Party packages available and we can also customize any party package to fit your party needs (i.e. Bachelor Party, Corporate Outing, Team Bonding, Youth Groups, etc.). Call us today to schedule your party.
Do I need a reservation to ride the cable?
No. We do have an online booking system where you can purchase your pass, but you can also purchase your pass on site as well. Parties, camps and lessons will need to be booked in advance.
Is there an entry fee to come to the park?
No. Anyone is welcome to come watch people ride at the park. Roseland Wake Park is a great atmosphere to come and hang out and we encourage everyone to come check it out.
How much does it cost?
Roseland Wake Park offers a variety of packages to fit your wakeboarding needs. Please check out our pricing page for more information.
Are there any discounted prices available for groups?
Yes. We offer discounted rates for birthday parties, group outings, and even walk up groups. Groups must be 10 people or more. Please call 585-393-9253 for more information on our group rates.
Is access to the wake park and the water park together or separate?
Separate. Each park will have their own separate entrances and passes will be sold separately to each. However, we will offer combo passes with access to both.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes. You can order Gift Certificates or add prepaid credit to your account both online or in the store.
What’s the waiver and why do I need it?
Everyone who rides at Roseland Wake Park is required to first sign a liability waiver. If you’re under the age of 18, you must have the form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Please note all riders must be over the age of 5 years old. All riders need to complete a new waiver form each riding season, but once we have your waiver on file, you may ride as often as you wish during that season without completing the waiver form again.
